Automative Technology

The automotive technology program is approved by Addis Ababa TVET Bureau. Students who enjoy hands-on problem-solving will value the extensive mechanical, electrical, and electronic service performance skills acquired by working on ``Live`` and training vehicles. Our automotive technology lab is a technologically rich environment with sophisticated tools required for electronic diagnostics and repair of domestic and foreign vehicles. 

Skills you will learn

Servicing engine auxiliary systems

Fuel, exhaust, lubricating and cooling systems 

Mechanical system service 

Brake, Steering, suspension, tier & wheel balance, final driver transmission, transaxle (gear box), clutch system service 

Electrical system 

Ignition system, Charging, starting, Automotive battery, lighting, air condition, alarm system & power window diagnosis & repair 

Body & painting

  • Body surface repair & painting, basic retrofitting (decoring) work 
  • Electronic engine diagnosis & repair 
  • Service writing, billing, parts ordering &inventory control 
  • Generally vehicle major & minor service 
  • Prepare company work plane, organization structure, and cost (job) estimation. 

Hands-on projects 

The trainees have to take 70% training on the company & 30% in school and at the end of the level courses should have to do project from all unit of competence as once.

Industry Linkage 

We have a memorandumagreement for job training from government &Privet Company like Anbesa City Bus, ELPHA, Ethio-Nippon, Nyala-Motors Moenco, Marathon-Motors Corporation and Auto teller companies.

Work Creation Linkage

We have delivered skilled technicians to Marathon Motors Corporation, Belayab-Motors, Ethio-Nippon & Auto teller companies. We have briefly identified all training from work on the curriculum unit of competency level chart.
